About Summit Pipelines
No job is too big or small. Summit Pipelines specializes in many different Pipeline Cleaning and CCTV techniques and procedures. From 2in. lateral lines to 108in. storm drain and sanitary sewer trunk lines, as well as very difficult siphon lines. Summit has the knowledge, expertise and drive to get any cleaning and CCTV job done efficiently, safely, on time and on budget.
Along with that, we are able to pinpoint locate underground pipelines up to 40ft. deep, take GPS coordinates for mapping purposes and produce in house Traffic Control plans for municipal engineering departments to help keep costs down to a minimum. New pipeline construction of water, sewer and storm drain lines from the bottom of the trench to the top of grade, including grading, paving and concrete work is something that Summit Pipelines can also take care of for our clients.
Safety will always be a top priority for Summit Pipelines. We take pride in the fact that we are always prepared for any circumstance or unsafe job hazard that may arise. Using proper PPE at all times, using manhole cages to prevent accidental falls, top of the line gas detection equipment and OSHA approved confined space entry equipment are just some of the practices and tools Summit uses to help ensure safe work areas. Extensive confined space and hazwopper training will always be a core value for our training program to keep our employees and clients as safe as possible at all times.
Summit Pipelines Owners
Although Summit Pipelines is a fairly new company in the pipeline construction and rehab industry, the three owners of the company have over 60 years combined experience in the industry. From Operations Management all the way down to laying pipe and crawling storm drain lines, they have always and will always strive to do the best and safest job possible for their clients.
Anthony French
Anthony has been in the pipeline industry since 1998, when he started of as a pipe-layer and quickly became a lead man for Cal Sierra Construction's iron/finish crew. It was at Cal Sierra that Anthony got to get into the pipeline cleaning, CCTV and rehab side of the industry. He took courses in pipeline inspection tecniques, became a NASSCO certified pipeline inspector and completed over a million feet of pipeline cleaning and CCTV work safely and efficiently.
After moving to Norcal Pipeline Services and quickly showing his potential and skills, he quickly became a foreman for their pipeline cleaning and CCTV division. Recently he became Superintendent in
this field, running multiple crews effectively and finishing many jobs safely and on schedule. He has more than 3 million feet in
pipeline rehabilitation experience and is considered an expert in the field of pipeline cleaning and CCTV. He is now co-owner and General Superintendent of Summit Pipelines and ready to continue his career in the industry he loves.
Wayne Lewis
Wayne has been in the pipeline industry since 1997, when he started of as a laborer for Cal Sierra Construction's pipeline cleaning and CCTV division. His first job for Cal Sierra as a 21 year old young man was crawling through and cleaning out the 4ft X 8ft box culverts going underneath the Reno International Airport runway. During his time at Cal Sierra, he also helped in the pipeline construction division, went to
school for specialized inspection methods and software, became a NASSCO certified pipeline inspector, learned and performed camera and
equipment repairs and performed close to 2 million feet of pipeline
investigation.
He to made the move to Norcal Pipeline Services shortly after Anthony did. He, like Anthony, quickly showed is potential and skills, and also quickly became a foreman for their pipeline cleaning and CCTV division. Wayne has over 4 million feet of pipeline cleaning, CCTV and locating experience. Most recently he was project manager/estimator at a small Pipeline inspection company, overseeing multi-million dollar projects for clients like SAK Construction, Del Amo Construction, Tiechert and other large construction and engineering firms. He is now Co-owner and project manage/estimator for Summit Pipelines and is looking forward to continuing his career in the industry.
Aaron Clark
Aaron is a United States Marine Corps Veteran, and was assigned to various combat engineer battalions. He has a background in the information technology field with a degree in
computer science, and moved into the construction industry with Cal Sierra Construction in 2000. While there he took take care of
databases, Traffic Control Plans, vehicle maintenance records and was the IT specialist.
He eventually learned about the pipeline rehabilitation field, earned a
degree in project management and has been a project manager and operations
manager for multiple companies including Cal Sierra, Norcal Pipeline Services and other smaller inspection companies.
He is now the co-owner and Operations Manager for Summit Pipelines. He has also passed the California Contractors
license exam and is the license holder for Summit Pipelines where he looks forward to building another successful company together with his business partners.
